After the end of the Forum, Ms. Thamires Quinhões met with the Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue. During the meeting, ABRAPES' interest in importing shrimp from Vietnam and strengthening fish trade between the two countries was demonstrated.
The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that on July 2, 2018, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Ministers of Agriculture of Brazil and Vietnam for technical cooperation in agriculture and livestock. He also emphasized that, with regard to fish, the trade flow with Brazil is far below capacity.
